I’m delighted to announce that I’ve won the Best In Blood Award (Best Author) of HorrorAddicts Season 3! I was voted the most popular among every author featured during the entirety of Season 3.

In a new interview with Horror Addict’s Sapphire, I answer questions running the gamut from the journey towards an FF sequel to Kiki’s penchant for bizarre poses.

In my recent research, I stumbled upon the Agent in the Middle (blog of Lori Perkins). She’s the head of the Lori Perkins Agency. I had fun reading through some of her old posts and discovered that she was most likely the agent behind one of my favorite movies of all time, The Haunted. The Haunted (1991) is the supposedly true story of an American family plagued by horrible demonic poltergeists, including an evil force that manifests itself in different forms. The Haunted is so scary that I would not advise that you watch it unless you are 14+.

Anyway, there was another post I could not resist replying to. It was the published correspondence between the agency and an angry rejected writer. Little did I know that someone out there took my reply quite seriously. A long flame appeared on my post about Robert winning a copy of my book calling me an idiot and insulting me for siding with the agents. I am neither offended nor upset by the comment, but it doesn’t belong on the post about Robert. I have reprinted the comment in the FF World forums, where it belongs. I am ready, willing, and able to defend my so-called idiocy there.

Robert B. of Poland won the limited paperback edition of Forever 15 by identifying the Queenie song Notes From Hell from March’s contest . . . congratulations Robert!

Thank you FF aficionados for all the great fan emails and Facebook adds this week. They have been truly heartwarming.

Right now I’m finalizing all the mixes for the second Queenie album, the Dream of Flight, before releasing the album officially. Once I’m done with that it will be back to work on my 2nd novel, River’s Heart, about a 13 year old female Native American vampire.
