FF Sequels

The number one most frequent question (several times per week) I get about Forever Fifteen is . . . what will happen in the sequels?

Just in case I get hit by a train before I write them, I’ll let you know that I have two sequels planned. Hopefully I will write them before I leave this planet.

The first sequel will follow Lucy after the fateful night of the orchestra concert. She will go off with Sebastian and do some real growing up, resuming her relationship with him. I want to explore Sebastian’s character more, which means delving into his past. Wealthy and powerful Sebastian will once again try to lord his power over a now-emancipated and much wiser Lucy. Lucy will experience a personal Renaissance (perhaps influenced by her memories of the actual one) and will go back to college. John will also grow up.

The third book will take place after Lucy turns John into a vampire. A war will ensue between Lucy and John on one side and Sebastian and his minions on the other. Sebastian will discover he has enemies both within his empire and without. John will face conflict over his decision to live forever.
